The seat mat emulator simulates the presence of a person sitting in the passenger seat. It removes the SRS error and turns off the airbag warning light caused by a broken seat occupancy mat (airbag warning light blinks in the sequence 4-7 or 4-8). The emulator is a diagnostic device to verify the correctness of the car's electrical installation and to make sure that the SRS error displayed on a dashboard is caused by a faulty seat mat. If your seat mat is broken, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will turn off after installation. If you have a different problem with your car, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will still be present.

Ich hab es für mein Mazda 6 2003bj 121PS, gekauft da ich seit halben Jahr mit der Airbagleuchte im Tacho zum kämpfen hatte. Bei der Fehlerauslesung wurde daraufhin gedeutet das auf der Beifahrer-Seite was Störungen hervorruft. Mein Mechaniker hat mir dann ein Emulator empfohlen und hab es daraufhin gleich bestellt.Nach kürzerster Zeit, schneller als erwartet habe ich das Produkt erhalten und gleich verbaut schaut gut verarbeitet aus und tut was es soll! Ce produit correspond exactement au besoin d’effacer l'erreur du voyant airbag qui clignote en permanence au bout de quelques années. Il est très facilement installable en débranchant la connectique sur la partie latérale avant de l'assise du siège passager et en y enfichant l'émulateur. je n'ai pas eu besoin d'avoir à effacer un code erreur en branchant une mallette, d'emblée, dès la première utilisation, l'erreur ne s'est plus affichée. Pour info, Mazda m'avait annoncé un minimum de 300 € pour "réparer" le système....
