The seat mat emulator simulates the presence of a person sitting in the passenger seat. It removes the SRS error and turns off the airbag warning light caused by a broken seat occupancy mat. The emulator is a diagnostic device to verify the correctness of the car's electrical installation and to make sure that the SRS error displayed on a dashboard is caused by a faulty seat mat. If your seat mat is broken, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will turn off after installation. If you have a different problem with your car, the SRS error and the airbag warning light will still be present. The most common errors related to a faulty seat mat are: "Component B48", "9025".

Super produit, installation très facile et le résultat est là. Les codes défaut suite à l'installation d'une banquette à la place d'un siège individuel dans un Vito sont bien supprimés et l'airbag passage reste fonctionnel. Je suis très satisfait.
Only in Dutch (sorry...): Ik heb na veel omzwervingen deze emulator eindelijk kunnen vinden. Prijsstelling voor wat er geleverd wordt is prima. Qua levertijd (ongeveer 1 week na bestelling kwam ie al binnen) helemaal prima. Was een kwestie van Plug & Play. Een tevreden Mercedes Viano rijder uit Nederland.
